I have been dreaming in Kodachrome
I've spent all my money on fallen hope
I let the tidal waves engulf me completely
Now I'm drowning in an ocean of dreamless sleep

Rose tinted skies and lilac stained clouds
Euphoria doused in kaleidoscope highs, gone rogue 
It flows endlessly, a river of weeping fantasies
Leading my amity into retrograde back down the golden road it came

They used to tell me how my bones and my face were lovely
And how all the glitter in the world had nothing on me
But like every shining star I eventually burned out 
With time, it has never really been very kind

I've never been known to believe in higher power
Lately my peace is waning and I can't find a way out

But cutting lines is an adversity in disguise, I should know
Karma is a fermenting archetype, to an extent you cannot recognize 
Is it tribunal enough to decide or if you're just punishing yourself all the time
