Winter Solstice - Kaleidoscope
So many bruises from running into dead ends everytime
I can't tell the difference between catastrophe and a white collar crime
I've lost most of my weight from running behind you in the rain
Yet I'm sinking beneath the waves in a blue fever dream cascade
The purple skies and a never ending night
Whoever said it was blue, let their shame stain red like dye
A forever swim in the icy waters of smoking maritime
Winter solstice, let me dwell in the myriad of the moonlight
So many sacrifices for something that could never be worth my time
I'm a mere appendage to an empire that's nothing more than a guise
I've gained back what I lost in senseless over fought fights
Yet I drift away like nothingness carried away by the foam white
The purple skies and a never ending night
Whoever said it was blue, let their shame stain red like dye
A forever swim in the icy waters of smoking maritime
Winter solstice, let me dwell in the myriad of the moonlight
So many wrong paths for me to choose from
Yet I stroll barefoot onto the frozen thistle blues
I'm terrified of the person I've grown to become
Two stepping with the devil until my soul has come loose
The purple skies and a never ending night
Whoever said it was blue, let their shame stain red like dye
A forever swim in the icy waters of smoking maritime
Winter solstice, let me dwell in the myriad of the moonlight.
