Suburbia - Stories From the Afterlife
Midnight in a new place
There's something so beautiful about the way
The moonlight hits the sidewalk
Chalk drawings in suburbia
I know I don't belong
In a white town covered up
If I can make it through the hysteria
I can live with myself in suburbia
Mowed grass lawns and well laid streets
Sirens only for cats in trees
Small problems no graveyards
I'd live the rest of my days in suburbia
Cotton candy, tight community
Everyone knows all the dirty laundry
I don't know what's scarier
Strange men or suburbia
Take five minutes in this place
Feels like you could live this way
Five nights of curfewed areas
I don't want to live in suburbia
Back in the city with a new face
Polished tongues and expensive taste
Set up a mental barrier
I'll never go back to suburbia.
