Wildfires - MASTERPIECE CHAPTER 8
Because I was so ashamed
I'm not known to losing it
But now the winds have changed
It's funny how easily you can
Cover the scars up with band aids
And every one thinks you're doing fine
You rained on my parade
And drowned me in all of it
You ran around saving face
Underestimated my limits
Can you hear my wildfires
Blazing in the night
If it didn't burn you down
Then I know it just might
Take you over to
The other side
A no man's land
No chance to fight
I'm not known to like revenge
Even when I'm put down
I will rise from the ashes
And take back my power
It's funny how easily you can
Cover the scars up with band aids
And even if you bleed you'd still be doing fine
You rained on my parade
And drowned me in all of it
You ran around saving face
Underestimated my limits
Can you hear my wildfires
Blazing in the night
If it didn't burn you down
Then I know it just might
Take you over to
The other side
A no man's land
No chance to fight
You can't have
Smoke without fire
My echos laugh
At all of the rumors
I was all you ever had
You will never do better
You rained on my parade
And drowned me in all of it
You ran around saving face
Underestimated my limits
Can you hear my wildfires
Blazing in the night
If it didn't burn you down
Then I know it just might
Take you over to
The other side
A no man's land
No chance to fight.
